Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams For the living room... I love love love Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams. These guys just get me. Their taste is fabulous and their furniture strikes the perfect balance between contemporary and timeless. This is also the store I'm going to today (FYI). My dining set and shag rug are both from Mitchell Gold (and there's more to come!). I love this store so much I'm kinda sorta friends with one of the regional managers but, I must warn you, this store is pricey. As hubs says, "Anything with gold in the name is going to hurt my wallet". Totally worth it though.

From our bed to our grey-black rug to our memory foam mattress, everything in our bedroom is from Bo Concept, an urban Danish design store. In fact, our bed was made with custom upholstery so it infamously took 12 weeks to arrive. Again, worth it, we love it. I think it's better to wait for something you adore vs. buying things just to fill up your space quickly. Also, we're again kinda sorta friends with the store manager in Cambridge. Bo is great because their furniture has that minimalist-modern look which was perfect for an open-concept loft like ours. I haven't bought anything big (except a rug for our den) from West Elm because the store's home decor line is a bit too rustic for our modern themed condo. However, they've got a huge collection of vases and trays and candle holders and other stunning little knick knacks that will help you accessorize. I'm a detail-oriented person and I use West Elm when I'm looking for centerpieces. West Elm is probably still considered a "high end" store but, it's less expensive than the other two I listed above.
