This is where, each year, local Chelsea shops are invited to celebrate The Chelsea Flower Show and decorate their shops in a selected theme. This year it was 'fairytale'. There couldn't be a more appropriate theme for Basia and she won a gold medal for her design and concept. She was helped, as in previous years by her shop staff and friends, Catherine and Tony of Rose and Grace Florists. Basia's concept for Chelsea in Bloom 2014, was larger than life floral jewellery, with moss beads and floral crosses and hearts. shop front in Pavilion Road (before her move to 5 Ellis Street) with her floral display to celebrate "Chelsea in Bloom, 2013". Designed by Basia to have a 60's psychedelic, flower-power theme, the amazing floral fantasy was created by Florists, who are based in the Cotswolds. Inside Basia's shop is an Aladdin’s Cave; an impossible-to-pass-by Enchanted Forest of colours, sparkle and design. You cannot take in all the beautiful things that Basia has collected, displayed, bursting at the seams, in layer on sumptuous layer.
It is a place dedicated to individuals who do not need to follow, or be told what is in fashion.
