Mismatched nightstands give the space a laid-back feel, and wall-mounted swing arm lamps flank the bold artwork. The water was the main inspiration behind this guest bedroom. Designer Sarah Richardson implemented ocean blue with a soft green color for a soothing effect. The curvy headboard mimics the water, enhancing the coastal design of the room. A sailboat model and whitewashed walls instantly add a coastal feel to this bedroom. Layla Palmer of The Lettered Cottage kept things cool and breezy by implementing soft blues and grays. For a mix-and-match look, she hung mismatched frames in black and brown, giving the impression the room was decorated over time. This sailboat bed is flanked by matching sailor boy lamps for a truly nautical-style space. To draw the eyes up, designer Jennifer Duneier added a boat-clad fabric headboard.

Raffia headboards, sea grass carpet and antique accessories contribute to the coastal style of this guest bedroom. Designer Regan Baker kept the room neutral for a relaxed feel.
