Eucalyptus Ave in San Carlos: Christmas season in overdrive on San Carlos' Eucalyptus AvenueIn the south bay, there probably isn't a better place than the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose, and specifically an 8-10 block section where every block picks a theme and decorates around it. This is anchored by the 20' tall, multi-yard construct of a sleigh with reindeer. There's no cost (it's a neighborhood, not an official attraction) and no real traffic (all the times I've gone). You just drive slowly through and keep the windows down so the kids can enjoy it. Often you'll see residents in their yards waving to impressed onlookers. The whole neighborhood is above average, but it's really anchored by this section of streets, for which it seems each house is holding to some ridiculously opulent standard of trimming the yard.Eucalyptus Ave in San Carlos: Christmas season in overdrive on San Carlos' Eucalyptus AvenueVista San RamonDowntown San Jose, there is an annual Christmas Park. The Vasona park (Los Gatos) "fantasy of lights" is also very popular16th Annual Fantasy of Lights. It is a proven fact that the lights around us provides energy and spirit to live every moment excitingly.
